Lecture 0 - Introduction to Computer Science I
This is first lecture from the series of course "Introduction to Computer Science I", Harvard OpenCourseWare with Instructor David J. Malan. The Instructor i...

Thanks for sharing this. This instructor is so much more energetic and
ReplyDeleteeasier to follow than the boring old guy at MIT whose name I forget. The
fact that he uses physical objects, activities, and visual aids to give
examples is just a hugely better way of teaching.
I know it's only CS50...but you can learn everything there is to know on
ReplyDeletethis course in a single day by reading Hacking, and by working on
Codeacademy.com.
The state of US education is garbage and when compared to an advanced
persistent threat hacker...this professor probably has only a child's
understanding of computer systems.
I'd venture a guess he doesn't even know the basic machine code error
exploits within the introductory program "hello, world!"
Computer scientist-wannabes would be better served by introductory hacking
classes than by programming classes.
Hey man, good on you for sharing this. You are directly helping the world
ReplyDeletebecome a better and educated place.
He is a very interactive instructor wish i could have went to Harvard very
ReplyDeletegood lesson too thanks.
I love the Arrested developement joke at the end : )

ReplyDeleteOmg thank you so much for making this video! Trying to get a head start on
ReplyDeletethis course and the instructor made it easier than what I thought I can
obtain. I wish I'm can afford Harvard University!
why does he sweet so much?
ReplyDeleteThat phonebook example was a great way to illustrate the diffrence between
ReplyDeletelinked lists and binary search trees. I'll be sure to remember that one!
I wonder how many phonebooks will die in this course?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I have one query.
ReplyDeleteIs this from Master's class or Bachelor's ?
